We believe that a child-led, play-based, project-rich curriculum facilitated by hands-on learning and real-life experiences will prepare our children to be lifelong learners and active contributors to the global community.

We provide children with a nurturing learning environment and atmosphere that celebrates individual uniqueness, promotes self esteem, and encourages cooperative, caring social interactions based upon mutual respect in a multi-age, family style setting. We invite parent’s active participation as a means to strengthen the family unit as well as to increase community awareness and involvement.

We offer a balance of an emergent curriculum which is activated by the children's interests and 'learning invitations' inspired by the natural environment, season, and teacher or parent passions.

Projects are hands-on, experiential, and guided from an interdisciplinary perspective building literary, arithmetic, critical thinking, and artistic skills.

Cooperative games and creative free play balance the day and help develop healthy social-emotional well being. See our Philosophy page for more details.

Our small, home-based programs provide an intimate environment for a child's first educational experience away from home.
