Rose Petal Play Dough
To make a lovely spring scented play dough:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup salt
- 4 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 tsp beet powder
- 5 drops diluted rose essential oil
- Rose petals
Mix all the ingredients together except for the rose petals. Once well mixed, an adult heats it up in a sauce pan until it forms into a nice dough. Once cool add rose petals and play with your dough!
Fairy Flower Tea
The kids love making fairy tea with the jasmine flowers. We counted out 30 flowers then poured in 4 cups of water and let it steep in the gentle sun for 2 to 3 hours.
